EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
PROVIDING BASIC NEEDS TO THOSE ON THE BRINK OF HOMELESSNESS
Our Emergency Assistance Program (EA) is a recognized and proven way to prevent homelessness in Lake City and surrounding counties. Our program serves those in our community who are struggling to pay utility bills, rent/mortgage payments or need food assistance. By aiding them with these basic needs, we ensure they can stay safely in their homes.
In addition, our Food Pantry is open 5 days a week sunny, rainy, hot, or cold from 7:30am to 11:30am Monday – Friday.
We assist all our financial clients with a friendly, experienced case manager to assist with the initial assessment and together create a personalized case plan with the recipient for self sufficiency – providing referrals and connecting with other agencies as we all partner together for the greater good of our clients.
